The silent dilemma in relationships which is draining many even emotionally.
A lion will never harvest a prey when it has multiple options at hand, no matter how strong and fast it might be. In the end, it will be left without a prey because in the process of being confused as to which prey to focus on, they would have all escaped from it and found their way to safety. This is what happens when someone is spoilt for choices. They have many people they want to choose from until they lose focus on who is a good match for them. A double minded person is unstable in all their ways.
Unfortunately, it is in this stage that people who have good intentions and motives get messed up. They think that they have found “the one” while on the other hand “the one” is probably weighing options. One of the worst places to be when in a relationship is to be in a state where you don’t know what or who you two are to each other, there’s no goal, there’s no target to achieve and there’s no purpose. Enduring a relationship just for the sake of it makes the heart sick and can cause emotional instability. Like The Word says, ” Hope differed makes the heart sick.”
Dating too many people at ago is old-fashioned and mostly leads to a confusing end with heartbreaks. (Note too many people)
For men and ladies of honour and integrity, being a player is no longer a fashionable or respectful thing to do. As it stands, multiple dating and courtship won’t give one a trophy, but sticking to one person can give you a lifetime marriage friend.
Trust me, there are noble people out here who are serious about what they are looking out for. Once they notice the kind of character you have and your instability, they will not hesitate walking away from you until get your act together and by the time you decide to come back, they have already moved on.
It is unfortunate to note that many people have missed out on good people to marry while they are stuck with multiple potentials.
One brother called in experiencing this dilemma, and I told him that in the end, he could not have all of them just one. And whoever he was going to choose the rest will be hurt and be disappointed. That’s better than playing with people’s emotions, wasting their and your precious time, yet in the end, you choose neither
